Hi
Lloyd
Just a week ago we said Bye-Bye
to Botswana. Both of us, we are so grateful for
your
hospitality, your kindness and your wise and experienced
introduction to the bush. This will endure at
least for a couple of years to come.

Dear
Bushmens (Daphne & Lloyd)
This is absolutely the best trip I have ever been
on.
I will thank you 1000 times for
everything.
Its kind of unbelievable what you can do out here
in the bush. I promise you that I have gained
a couple of pounds – the food was just perfect
Anyway I hope I can do this another
time together with my wife, this is something
you just have to do.
Oki doki, thanks again

Dear
Daph & Lloyd
Once
again you have given Brigid & I a wonderful
9 days and nights. We have many happy memories
to take back. “Lloyd luck” held out
to the last day – Wild dogs! – our
first sighting – and his new nickname “Golden
Balls” was well founded.
We’re already planning our
fifth visit!
Go bless you both for everything

it just gets better and better. Daphne the calm
and very clever lady that keeps her finger on
all pulses. Lloyd – if he cant find them
no one can. He’s top cat!
See you soon we hope

I'm surfing this site, feeling very nostalgic.
I years ago, with some friends, spent time at
Lloyds Camp in Savuti, and despite some amazing
bushveld experiences since then, the time spent
with
Lloyd, still hold the most memorable encounters
I have with wildlife. Although the adrenaline
rush has long since disappeared, the images embedde
in my mind whilst with him, have not! This is
just a belated note to say thank you for painting
such awesome experiences that to this day, I still
take with me where ever I go.
All the Best

Dear
Daphne, Storm and Lloyd,
Whoever sees the mail first please
pass it on to the others!
Just a few words to say thank you
again for everything, and that means above allmaking
the latest safari a special one (but aren't they
all???) It was good to catch up with you all and
get back to the good things... As always, the
animals, wildlife and landscape are there to see
for everybody who ventures into Botswana, but
what makes a safari really special are all the
little details that are unique to it -- and thanks
to you guys, there were plenty of them this time
again!
Till I see you all again -- and
it won't be too long I hope -- all my best wishes
for everything to you all!
Take care

Dear
Lloyd
Thank you so much for an amazing
time in Botswana.
The great thought, organisation
& effort put into the arrangements all contributed
to it's complete success but the main factors
were your unending enthusiasm, energy, sense of
humour and immense knowledge of the bush.
In addition, there is a pervasive
beauty & sense of timelessness which captures
the soul so , hopefully, I shall return one day.
I was also very fortunate in joining such a friendly
and pleasant group of people, I couldn't have
hoped for better & am sure they enjoyed the
whole experience as much as I did.
Daphne, many thanks for making us
feel so welcome. It was great to meet you after
all the correspondence & I hope we keep in
touch.
Thanks also to Storm & the rest of the staff
for making camp life so comfortable.
Once again, Lloyd, many thanks,
you are a very special person. Don't work too
hard during your break & I hope the building
goes well when you go to Shakawe.

Dear
Lloyd and Daphne
Thanks
a million for allowing me the privilege of staying
with you.
Words can't describe the amazing time I had. I've
considered it to be one of the most unique and
special experiences of my life. Never before have
I come so close to a lion, seen so many elephant
nor witnessed the diversity of a place like the
Okavango.
Being a fanatic fisherman, I especially
enjoyed the fishing. I've been fishing in some pretty
wild places, but never as wild as this! Most of
my fishing friends don't believe when I tell them
I fished 50m from a lion kill!
I was especially surprised by the
comfort and hospitality of the campsite. I had no
idea I would come so close to nature yet have the
privilege of eating a three course meal. However
it was probably the remoteness of the area which
appealed to me the most. I never thought places
like this existed, even in wildest Africa.
Thanks Again.

We had the big celebration party
yesterday and as Mum said, nothing could compare
with the candlelight and the stars at your camp!
You know Daph, we just loved everything.
I cant begin to say that this was better than that
or whatever - it was all just perfect.
